Sickle Cell Town Hall 2026

The Schar Cancer Institute’s Adult Sickle Cell Center and the Heart of Gold Sickle Cell Foundation of Northern Virginia cordially invite your organization to participate in the Annual Sickle Cell Town Hall on Tuesday, September 8, from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 8100 Innovation Park Drive, Fairfax, VA.

This event presents a critical opportunity for the community to unite, share resources, and support individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease.

This impactful community-centered event will bring together patients, caregivers, adolescents, young adults, healthcare providers, advocates, and community partners to raise awareness, share resources, and foster meaningful dialogue about sickle cell disease. Our goal is to provide families with direct access to trusted providers, insurance representatives, mental health professionals, wellness resources, educational tools, and community support organizations.
